This notice explains how Value My Cars processes information submitted through valuemycars.co.za. It applies to website visitors, dealership representatives and people who complete the dealership growth diagnostic.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to submit, including your name, dealership or company, email address, phone number, website address, enquiry message and diagnostic answers. We may also retain the page, referral source, campaign parameters, submission time and consent record needed to route and manage the enquiry.

Why we use the information

We use submitted information to respond to your request, review the dealership journey you identified, route the enquiry into the appropriate DealershipCore workflow, maintain an activity record and improve the website experience. The diagnostic does not make an automated credit, vehicle-purchase or employment decision.

Sharing and service providers

Information may be available to Value My Cars and DealershipCore team members or approved service providers needed to operate the website, store the enquiry and respond. We do not sell submitted contact details.

Cookies and local storage

The dealership diagnostic uses session storage in your browser to preserve progress while the tab remains open. This draft information is not sent to us unless you submit the diagnostic. Standard infrastructure logs may be processed for security, reliability and abuse prevention.

Retention

Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed to handle the enquiry, maintain accountability, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. Retention periods may differ depending on the nature and status of the request.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements. Use the contact form and identify the request as a privacy matter.

Security

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used to reduce unauthorised access, loss and misuse. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
